Each profile we offer can additionally have a third glass unit and a warm, thermal frame. Color lamination on the exterior side of the window increases the price by approximately 20%, on both sides by approximately 35%. Internal lamination is more expensive than external lamination.

Veka SL 82 MD, Ideal 8000 and Kommerling 88 MD windows are assembled only with triple pane glass.

This problem is especially acute in older homes that do not have modern heat recovery systems, in which case windows become the main tool for ventilation of the room. Here are some tips on how to prevent windows from fogging up:

• Plastic windows can be assembled with gradual opening fittings or with microventilation, which helps maintain optimal room ventilation.
• New windows with triple glazing system and warm spacer ensures better thermal insulation, which also reduces the likelihood of condensation.
• Horizontal air vents can help prevent fogging in windows because air can circulate even when the windows are closed. These vents can be controlled both manually and automatically.
• For effective room ventilation without heat loss, it is recommended to open the windows wide once a day.

High-quality windows can help ensure thermal insulation and prevent moisture accumulation, but poor indoor heating and ventilation are the main factors in the problem of window fogging.

If you notice condensation forming on the outside of your double-glazed window, don't worry - this is completely normal for double-glazed windows. In fact, it can be said that fogging up the window from the outside is a sign of good quality. Double-glazed windows are designed with excellent thermal insulation, which means that they do not allow heat to escape to the outside. This allows the outer glass to cool down to match the ambient temperature at night. When the weather warms up in the morning, moisture can condense on the cool glass surface. This is not a problem with ordinary double-glazed windows, as the heat from inside the room warms up the outer glass and prevents fogging.

Usually, the warranty terms may differ depending on whether you purchased the windows separately or with installation/dismantling services. Warranty service will only be valid if the windows are installed correctly and in compliance with relevant regulations. If you choose to install the windows yourself, the warranty may no longer be valid or may be shorter.

When choosing the right energy class for plastic windows during a home renovation, it is important to consider the scope of the repair. When carrying out major repairs, a project plan is prepared, which specifies the specific thermal insulation requirements for the new windows.

If you are planning a simple repair and do not have a project, we generally recommend choosing energy class B or energy class A windows. These windows offer better thermal insulation and can help reduce noise pollution. 

If your apartment building has not been renovated, economy series of windows with a double glazing package will sufice. However, it is worth considering that windows are a long-term investment and if you decide to renovate the building in a few years, your windows may not meet the requirements of the renovation energy class. 

Typically, during apartment renovations, the thermal requirements for plastic windows reach 1.1 W/m²K thermal resistance (energy efficiency class C). In this case, we suggest choosing economy series windows with triple glazing system or 80 mm mounting depth windows with renovation profile with triple glass.
